SpDUG forum 2019: DevOps: Connecting the DBA and the Application Developer

Con el deseo de contribuir a la actualización de conocimientos de nuestra comunidad, SpDUG anuncia la realización del Hands On Lab "DevOps: Connecting the DBA and the Application Developer" el próximo Miércoles, 9 de Octubre, justo la fecha siguiente al SpDUG forum 2019, aprovechando la presencia en el mismo de Jørn Thyssen (Rocket Software – Db2 Tools Product Specialist) y Sara Lynch (Solutions Advisor at Rocket Software).

Como el título indica, DevOps persigue la integración entre desarrolladores de software y los profesionales de sistemas en las tecnologías de la información (IT), lo que parece resultar la apuesta del futuro de los nuevos desarrollos.

El aforo de asistencia al workshop está limitado a 10 invitaciones, y será por invitación exclusiva de SpDUG.

Los detalles del Hands On Lab son:

Zowe is going to be a new standard framework for interacting with the mainframe that enables an intuitive, productive and better integrated solutions. Zowe is a new open source software framework that provides solutions that allow development and operations teams to securely, manage, control, script and develop on the Mainframe like any other cloud platform. We’ll provide an introduction into Zowe before continuing with the Zowe-based DevOps hands-on lab.

In the hands-on lab part of this session, you’ll explore DevOps solutions based on Zowe. In this hands-on lab, we'll look at the latest technology to help application development and IT collaborate.  We'll cover the DBA side of setting up teams, enforcing rules and setting space boundaries, as well as application discovery.  The app dev side will be able to provision, make changes, submit and have them reviewed and approved for submission to the DBA.
